The Mrduja Regatta

The Mrduja Regatta - Mrdujska regata

It's a famous sailing race that takes place in Split, Croatia. It's one of the oldest regattas in Europe, first held in 1927. Small Island Mrduja stands proudly between island of Brac and Solta. This 800 meters wide strait is a part of "Split maritime gate", in the Adriatic Sea which leads to the International Split port. This spectacular scenery serves as a backdrop of the Mrduja Regatta held every year in October.
